American Airlines Offers More Options

Because of ice and snow in Chicago and the Northeast region, American
Airlines, American Eagle, and AmericanConnection have announced travel
options for customers whose plans may be affected by the weather. The
increased flexibility allows customers to avoid potential inconvenience
caused by the weather, which could affect flight operations.

American will allow customers who have reservations for travel to, from or
through Illinois to change their travel to alternate American Airlines,
American Eagle, or AmericanConnection flights today through Wednesday,
Jan. 28 to avoid the inclement weather.

American will allow customers who have reservations for travel to, from or
through Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North
Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. to
change their travel to alternate American Airlines, American Eagle, or
AmericanConnection flights today through Friday, Jan. 30, to avoid the
inclement weather.
One date or time change is permitted with no penalty under this policy.
