Flying Ted Has Just Gotten Easier
With just a few weeks to go before Ted takes to the skies, an enhanced Web
site—http://www.flyted.com/—and a dedicated reservations number—
1-800-CALLTED (1-800-225-5833)—have been launched to make it even
easier for people to meet Ted.
“Since we unveiled Ted last November, thousands of people have already
booked online,” said Sean Donohue, vice president - Ted. “Now, with the
improved online features and 1-800-CALLTED number, it`s easier than ever
to experience Ted.”
Ted`s distinctive, down-to-earth, friendly personality is reflected in the
design of the website. In addition to giving passengers access to Ted`s
low fares, flyted.com offers a range of enhanced services that make
navigation both easy and fun.
Fare and flight information are presented in a simple and transparent
fashion allowing passengers to quickly access the details they require.
Travel itineraries can be easily created and managed via the website,
which also gives Ted fliers access to other United products such as
EasyUpdate. Since Ted passengers can earn Mileage Plus miles with every
Ted flight, flyted.com even allows users to access their frequent flier
accounts.
For the first time at http://www.flyted.com/ a range of fun Ted
merchandise is available to buy. As an added benefit, passengers can earn
Mileage Plus miles on all Ted merchandise from Ted T-shirts and jackets to
Ted electronic smart mugs.
Flyted.com will offer passengers a one-stop shop for excellent deals on
hotel accommodations, car rentals, and special Ted and United packaged
deals.
The new customer service number, 1-800-CALLTED, will allow passengers to
book flights, check fares, flight information and availability, and redeem
miles for award travel on United, United Express and Ted.
