British Airways Launches $198 Round-Trip

The time for travel to Europe is here again as British Airways announces a
$198 round-trip fare between New York and London coupled with $25 per
person per night hotel rooms in London at 3 and 4 star properties.

Comparable airfares are also are available from British Airways` other 21
North American gateways and the low hotel rates may be found at five
centrally-located London properties for travel from now through September.

“Whether passengers choose to travel this winter or take advantage of an
exciting offer for a fantastic summer vacation, they`ll be sure to go for
less and come back with more with this sale from British Airways.” said
Elizabeth Weisser, Vice President Marketing North America, British
Airways. “Along with fantastic airfares to London and an incredible hotel
deal that lasts from now through the entire summer, British Airways is
also offering sale fares to 20 top European destinations.”

In addition to $198 from JFK or Newark, comparable sample rates to London
are $226 from Boston, $316 from Chicago, $376 from Miami, Tampa, Orlando,
Los Angeles and San Francisco, $266 from Baltimore and Washington, DC,
$386 from Houston and Dallas/Ft. Worth and $ 356 from Atlanta.

Participating hotels are the Royal National (2.5*), St. Giles (3*),
Thistle Kensington Gardens (4*), the Gresham Hyde Park (4*) and the De
Vere Cavendish (4*). The $25 per night rate is based on double occupancy
for up to two nights, which must be taken consecutively at the same hotel.
Single occupants are entitled to one night at the $25 per person rate at
participating hotels. Additional nights on a single or double occupancy
basis are available, subject to space at participating hotels.

A World Traveller Plus fare is also available for $598 round-trip from New
York; World Traveller Plus is available on most British Airways
transatlantic flights. The World Traveller Plus cabin features 38 inch
pitch seats in a separate cabin aboard longhaul B747 and B777 aircraft.

The economy fares are based on mid-week travel, Monday-Wednesday; a $30
surcharge will be applied for weekend (Thursday-Sunday) travel in each
direction. Tickets must be purchased seven days in advance of departure.
Minimum stay is one Saturday night and maximum stay is 11 months. Other
significant restrictions may apply.

Economy fares are subject to availability and do not include government
fees and taxes of approximately $102 plus a $2.50 Sept. 11th Security Fee.
For passengers upgrading to World Traveller Plus, the government fees and
taxes are approximately $138 plus the $2.50 Sept. 11th Security Fee.
