“We already wished our Customers a Happy New Year, so here`s to Leap
Year,” said Joyce Rogge, Southwest`s senior vice president of marketing.
“But it doesn`t really matter what holiday you`re celebrating when fares
are this low.”
These internet-only fares are on sale today through Jan. 22, 2004, and are
valid for travel from Feb. 3, 2004, through Feb. 29, 2004. Fares can be
purchased one-way and can be combined with other fares. When combining
fares, the most restrictive conditions apply. Tickets must be purchased at
least 14 days before departure and within one day of making reservations.
Fares do not include a federal segment tax of up to $3.10 per takeoff and
landing. Fares do not include airport-assessed passenger facility charges
of up to $9 one-way or federal September 11th Security Fees of up to $5
one-way per person. Tickets are nonrefundable but may be applied toward
the purchase of future travel on Southwest Airlines without the penalty of
a change fee. Seats are limited and may not be available on some flights
that operate during peak or holiday travel times. Fares are subject to
change until ticketed, and any change in itinerary could result in an
increase in the fare. Fares are valid on published, scheduled service only.
