Northwest Increases Service to Savannah

Northwest Airlines today announced expanded service to Savannah, Ga., with
new seasonal Saturday-only nonstop service from two of its three hubs at
Minneapolis/St. Paul and Memphis, as well as a second daily non-stop
flight between Savannah and its Detroit hub.

The new seasonal flights will operate once a week from March 6 through
June 5, 2004. The second daily round-trip flight between Northwest`s
WorldGateway hub at Detroit and Savannah begins Feb. 23, 2004.

“The new seasonal flights to both Minneapolis/St. Paul and Memphis provide
travelers with convenient connections at all three of our domestic hubs to
the hundreds of cities we serve worldwide via Northwest and its global
alliance partners,” said Tom Bach, vice president of market planning and
Airlink. “Our second daily flight between Detroit and Savannah reflects
the growing demand we`ve been seeing in this market.”

“Northwest`s increased presence at Savannah/Hilton Head International
Airport adds viable options for passengers for service to strategically
placed hubs with connections beyond,” said Patrick Graham, executive
director of Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport.

The new service will be operated with Northwest Airlink affiliate Pinnacle
Airlines Corp.`s 44-50-passenger Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ). The CRJ
features a spacious cabin with comfortable two-by-two leather seating and
other cabin amenities similar to larger jets, such as overhead bins, a
galley, lavatory, and an efficient climate control system to ensure
passenger comfort.
