Virgin Atlantic announced today that the majority of its main customer contact telephone numbers in the UK have changed from an 01293 number to an 0870 or 0871 number.  This change will improve network resilience, therefore safeguarding customer service.

In addition to this change, there are now separate numbers for passengers and travel agencies calling Virgin Atlantic’s Contact centre. 

For passenger reservations and information, the number is now 08705 747 747. 

For travel agents, the new reservations and information number is 0870 7 8 9 10 11. 

Other key numbers which have changed are as follows:

Customer Relations:    0870 4646 747
Flight arrival and departure information:  0871 9 840 840
Flying Club:    08701 61 60 59

The main switchboard number at the airline’s headquarters in Crawley will remain as 01293 562345 until a date to be confirmed in 2004.
