United Kicks Off Ski Season

United Airlines (BULLETIN BOARD: UALAQ) today announced a special “Rush to
the Rockies” fare sale on travel to and from Colorado`s top ski
destinations to help customers take advantage of the recent snows that
have kicked off ski season across the Centennial State.

Customers who purchase qualifying tickets through December 16, 2003, will
realize substantial savings to and from Aspen, Durango, Grand Junction,
Gunnison, Hayden/Steamboat Springs, Montrose and Vail/Eagle. In addition,
customers who purchase their tickets through united.com will earn an extra
1,000 Mileage Plus(R) miles.

Martin White, senior vice president - Marketing, said: “With our friends
at Vail Resorts reporting thirteen inches of snow over the last 48 hours,
it couldn`t be a better time to purchase tickets on United for a Colorado
ski vacation this winter. Coupled with United`s and United Express`
extensive, daily service throughout the state, this Colorado fare sale
means more great ticket prices, more convenient schedules and more travel
options for anyone planning to hit the slopes.”

Tickets must be purchased at least seven days in advance of travel and
require a three-day minimum stay. Travel must originate within the
domestic 48 states and must be completed before February 8, 2004. Certain
rules, restrictions and blackout dates apply. See fare facts below for
