TAM Added as Partner for Best Western

Best Western and Brazilian based TAM airlines have partnered to offer more
point earning opportunities for members of Programa Fidelidade and Gold
Crown Club International. TAM is the latest airline to partner with the
lodging giant and becomes the company`s eleventh such partner. As part of
the deal, GCCI members will earn 250 base points per qualifying stay at
any of the more than 4,000 Best Western hotels in 80 countries.

To promote the new partnership, TAM will be included in the Double Up with
Best Western(R) promotion that is effective now until January 14, 2004.
Programa Fidelidade points or Gold Crown Club points can be earned after
every qualifying stay at hotels in Asia, the United States, Canada, the
Caribbean and South America. Registration and membership in Gold Crown
