Delta Air Lines offers holiday shoppers an alternative to crowded parking
lots and long lines at the mall. Through Delta`s SkyMiles(R) program,
miles can be purchased online at delta.com/buymiles for friends and family
members.

“Miles can be given as gifts or used by the purchaser to top-off their
account for award travel,” said Christine Pierce, Delta`s director of
Partnership Marketing. “The holidays can be a stressful time, but with the
convenience of online purchase, miles are the perfect gift for everyone—
even the person who has everything.”

For as little as $55, a gift of miles can help friends and family reach
their next travel award or jump start a new SkyMiles account. Anyone can
purchase or receive miles; however, the recipient must enroll in the
SkyMiles program before collecting miles. Miles can be purchased in
increments of 1,000, and can be redeemed for award travel to more than 400
worldwide destinations Delta and its partner airlines.

Miles can be purchased throughout the year for $0.0275 per mile plus a 7.5
percent Federal Excise Tax and a $25 processing fee per transaction.
Multiple gifts may be given with one transaction.

Delta SkyMiles members earn miles by flying Delta, Song, Delta Shuttle,
Delta Connection, and Delta`s worldwide partners, including the airline`s
SkyTeam partners. The program offers additional mileage-building
opportunities through SkyMiles partners such as the Delta SkyMiles(R)
Credit Card from American Express, AT&T telecommunication services,
EarthLink(TM) Internet services, participating hotels, car rental
companies, restaurants, floral purchases and financial, mortgage and
realty services. SkyMiles may be redeemed for upgrades, Crown Room Club
memberships and Award Travel to more than 400 worldwide destinations.

SkyMiles account in 24-48 hours. Purchased miles do not count toward
Medallion or Million Miler status. All standard SkyMiles program rules and
