Delta Win Best Airport Lounges

PRNewswire-FirstCall ATLANTA Nov. 20 :

Delta Air Lines` Crown Room Clubs have received the award for “Best
Airport Lounges” in the annual reader`s poll conducted by Business
Traveler magazine. To thank customers for business, Delta will host a
celebration next week in all 41 clubs and give away multiple prize
packages.
As part of the celebration, on Tuesday, November 25, the 100th customer to
enter the Crown Room Club in each of the 41 locations will receive gifts
including: a six-month extension to their current club membership, a
complimentary one-year subscription to Business Traveler magazine and an
array of other gifts. All club members and visitors will also enjoy
refreshments and giveaways. The carrier will also reward employees for a
job well done through a raffle of prizes.

“We`ve aggressively worked to make our Crown Room Clubs a haven in the
midst of the hustle and bustle of travel,” said Betty Hollan, general
manager of Customer Lounge Programs for Delta. “We thank our loyal members
for choosing our clubs as places where they can work or conduct personal
business, relax or just have a good time.”

For the 15th annual 2003 awards, nearly 3,000 Business Traveler
subscribers and seasoned travelers responded to its annual survey to rate
airlines, hotels and travel services in several categories.

“Our readers are road warriors, meaning they travel an average of two
months a year” said Eva Leonard, editor in chief for Business Traveler.
“They have discriminating tastes, and when an airline receives their
accolades, the traveling public can rely on their opinions.”
