Delta Air Lines is pleased to announce that customers may now purchase
miles for its SkyMiles frequent flyer program in local Delta City Ticket
Offices in select Latin American countries. The participating Latin
American countries include Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, El
Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

“Miles are a unique gift to give for graduations, birthdays, anniversaries
or any other special occasion,” said Jorge Fernandez, Delta`s director for
Latin America and Caribbean. “The ability to purchase miles in small
increments can now help SkyMiles members in Latin America reach their
desired mile amounts more quickly and redeem them for that special trip or
vacation for themselves, their family members or loved ones.”

Individuals may purchase SkyMiles in increments of 1,000 miles for $0.0275
USD per mile plus applicable U.S. excise taxes, local taxes and a
processing fee. Multiple gifts may be given with one transaction, and the
purchaser does not have to be a Delta SkyMiles member. SkyMiles may be
redeemed for benefits including Award Travel to more than 400 destinations
worldwide on Delta or its partner airlines, upgrades and Crown Room Club
membership.

Delta offers daily non-stop flights between Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa
Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Venezuela and the
United States.

Delta SkyMiles members earn miles by flying Delta, Song, Delta Shuttle,
Delta Connection, Delta AirElite and Delta`s worldwide partners, including
SkyTeam and other partner airlines. The program offers additional mileage-
building opportunities through SkyMiles partners such as Delta SkyMiles(R)
Credit Cards, leading hotels and car rental companies.
