The Dallas Black Dance Theatre will honor American Airlines at a special
ceremony tonight for providing exceptional corporate support to the
organization over the year ending June 1, 2003. During this period,
American donated several tickets to support the Dallas Black Dance
Theatre`s touring program. The group was also the beneficiary of ticket
sales to this year`s American Airlines Community Concert at the Meyerson
Symphony Hall, starring Gladys Knight.

The Dallas Black Dance Theatre`s annual donor appreciation award ceremony
will take place at 5:30 p.m. this afternoon at 2700 Flora Street, Dallas.

The contribution of round-trip tickets allowed the theatre to take their
educational programs and services to schools and organizations throughout
the country. American Airlines has supported the Dallas Black Dance
Theatre since 1988 with the donation of tickets to help bring their
outstanding programs to a broader national audience.

from the Dallas Black Dance Theatre,” said Kimberly Tapscott, AA`s
manager- Advertising and Promotion. “American Airlines has a long-standing
tradition of supporting civic and cultural organizations to help maintain
and expand exceptional programs such as those of the Dallas Black Dance
Theatre.”

of the Dallas Black Dance Theatre. “Without American Airlines support, we
simply could not provide year-round programming.”
