SkyWest Airlines Reports Traffic

SkyWest Airlines, Inc., a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. , reported a 49.4
percent increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for October, while
available seat miles (ASMs) increased 38.2 percent compared to the same
period last year. The airline generated 405.1 million RPMs for the month,
while ASMs increased to 548.7 million. Load factor was 73.8 percent
compared to 68.3 percent for the same period last year. Passenger
boardings for October totaled 1,008,436, a 36.8 percent increase over
October 2002.
SkyWest Airlines, Inc. is the nation`s largest independently operated
regional carrier, and is based in St. George, Utah. The US Department of
Transportation has recognized SkyWest as the number one on-time airline in
the United States seven out of the last eight months. SkyWest operates as
a United Express, Delta Connection and Continental Connection carrier
under marketing agreements with United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and
Continental Airlines respectively. System-wide, SkyWest has approximately
5,600 employees and serves a total of 105 cities in 26 states and three
Canadian provinces with more than 1,200 daily departures.
