Northwest Airlines today announced a systemwide October load factor of
78.5 percent, 3.4 points above October 2002. Northwest flew 5.67 billion
revenue passenger miles (RPMs) and 7.22 billion available seat miles
(ASMs) in October 2003, a traffic decrease of 3.4 percent and a capacity
decline of 7.6 percent versus October 2002.
