American Airlines AAdvantage(R) members have many different ways to use
their miles, and now they can even redeem miles for some of their favorite
magazines. AAdvantage members who have as few as 400 miles can log onto
AA.com and subscribe to more than 50 popular magazines like National
Geographic, Golf Digest, Conde Nast Traveler, Fortune and Time.

“Redeeming miles for magazine subscriptions provides our members with a
convenient way to enjoy their miles, whether they have 400 or 400,000,”
said Jeff Zidell, vice president—AAdvantage Marketing programs at
American. “It`s also a great way for AAdvantage members who don`t have
many miles or who have miles about to expire to put them to good use.”

With a few simple clicks online, members can use their miles to order from
a list of many popular magazines.

Here`s how it works. AAdvantage members log onto AA.com, click on Partners
and Mileage and choose the Retail and Gifts category. Then select
Magazines for Miles to view the list of magazines offered.

After an order is submitted, the appropriate number of miles will be
deducted from the member`s AAdvantage account. The magazines will begin
arriving within four to 10 weeks.

AAdvantage members have many other options for using miles, like redeeming
them for air travel, vacation packages, car rentals and hotel points. The
AAdvantage program consistently leads the industry in award redemptions,
offering members more ways to redeem miles than any other travel awards
program.
