Tourico Signs with Delta

Tourico Holiday Flights Inc., a leading low-cost travel provider, has signed a comprehensive tour operator agreement with Delta Air Lines, the world`s third largest carrier. Delta is the anchor of the worldwide SkyTeam Alliance which includes Air France, AeroMexico, Alitalia, CSA, and Korean Airlines.
James Foster, Tourico`s vice president of aviation contracting said, “The agreement is very wide ranging - taking in promotion of leisure destinations on the Delta and SkyTeam route network including Europe, Mexico, Central and South America as well as major domestic Delta destinations like Florida, California and Las Vegas. We are extremely pleased to be included in the select family of Delta`s major tour operators.”
As part of the agreement, Tourico Holidays will connect “Host to Host” from its booking engine to the Delta reservations system, “Deltamatic” via the Navitaire Direct Connect program. Direct Connect is designed to reduce the high cost of GDS distribution to airlines and is reserved for their highest volume users.
Uri Argov, founder and president of Tourico Holiday Flights added, “The combination of great airfares with partners like Delta and our unbeatable hotel rates, presented using dynamic packaging technology, allows Tourico Holidays to give our customers the best value in nine out of ten cases when compared to our better known competitors.”
Florida-based Tourico Holidays was founded in 1994. The company was recently recognized as one of the 500 fastest growing private companies in the United States by Inc. magazine, the only tourism company to make the list.
