Delta Connection Launches Grand Bahama Service

Delta Connection today begins the first nonstop regional jet service
between Grand Bahama Island, Bahamas, and Delta Air Lines` hub at Atlanta
with two daily round-trip regional jet flights. Airline and civic leaders
celebrated the new service with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
today at Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport. Delta Connection
carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) operates the new service using
the popular Bombardier CRJ aircraft.

“We are pleased to offer Delta customers another nonstop destination in
the Caribbean via our Atlanta hub. With this addition, Delta and its
codeshare partners now offer customers nonstop service between Atlanta and
15 Caribbean destinations,” said Fred Buttrell, president and CEO, Delta
Connection, Inc.

To commemorate the new service, Delta Connection is offering a SkyMiles
bonus for customers traveling between Grand Bahama Island and Atlanta.
SkyMiles members will receive double bonus miles for travel on qualifying
Delta Connection flights between Grand Bahama Island and Atlanta through
Dec. 15, 2003. This offer is valid for all new and existing SkyMiles
members in the United States, Canada, Bermuda, the Caribbean and the U.S.
Virgin Islands.

In addition to the bonus miles, customers can earn a SkyMiles bonus of
1,000 miles for each round trip or 500 miles each way for each ticket
purchased at delta.com , and earn another 1,000 bonus miles when they
check in online at delta.com . Except as otherwise indicated, all Delta
SkyMiles program rules and conditions apply.
