bmi regional Commitment to Manchester

bmi regional is to launch a new early morning service on its Manchester - Glasgow route, further underlining the commitment to its north-west hub.

From 22 September the airline, the regional arm of the UK`s second largest full service scheduled carrier, will operate a new early morning departure from Manchester at 06:55, arriving into Glasgow at 07:55. The service will be operated by an Embraer jet aircraft and will comprise a business and economy cabin.

The introduction of the service follows a decision to base an additional aircraft and crew at Manchester.Ê Alex Grant, bmi regional director said:
“I`m delighted that we are able to further strengthen our commitment in Manchester with this expansion and improvement to our operation.Ê This means that we will be able to offer a much improved business schedule satisfying both Manchester and Glasgow customers.”

The expansion and strengthening of the Manchester - Scotland schedule comes after the recent announcement from bmi regional that it is to start operating services from East Midlands to Brussels from 26 October 2003. Seats are already on sale for all of the new services and are bookable at flybmi.com or via the bmi telephone reservations centre on 0870 60 70 555.
