Ryanair has launched its “biggest-ever free flights bonanza” and is planning to give away some two million seats between now and Christmas.
Passengers have four days to book the tickets on any of the carrier’s 131 European routes, and bookings must be made online. The tickets are for travel between 23 September and 17 December, and do not include taxes.
Michael Cawley, Ryanair’s deputy chief executive, said in a statement: “To celebrate reaching a new monthly passenger record of 2.14 million in August, we are giving away two million free seats across our route network. This is the perfect opportunity for people to bum their way for free across Europe on an autumn break.”
