Ahmed AlJanahi has been appointed as the new Head of Corporate Affairs at Batelco.
Following a two-year period during which, as Head of Public Relations at Gulf Air, he managed the department and played a key role in government and media relations, Ahmed is to take on a new challenge at the helm of Batelco’s Public Relations Division at Hamala.
“We would like to congratulate Ahmed on his appointment and wish him every success in his new role at Batelco,” said James Hogan, President and Chief Executive at Gulf Air. “By virtue of his in-depth knowledge and understanding of key regional and cultural issues, he has been a tremendous asset to Gulf Air during the first 18 months of our three-year turnaround strategy. He has been a great support both to me and to Gulf Air.”

There are already strong signs of success evidenced in the airline’s increased visibility in the market and also in its improved financial position,” said Mr AlJanahi. “Given the high level of commitment and innovation in the team at Gulf Air, there is every reason to believe that the airline will meets its objectives.”
Mr AlJanahi will take up his new appointment at the end of September this year.
