06 Aug 2003 - Malaysia Airlines is continuing with normal operations into and out of Jakarta despite yesterday`s bombing incident in the city.

It is operating 21 weekly flights on this route and its forward bookings remain intact todate.

Malaysia Airlines is also monitoring the situation closely and will initiate appropriate steps in co-operation with the local authorities in Jakarta, where necessary, to ensure the safety and security of its passengers and flight operations.
