AAdvantage and Sharper Image Offer

FORT WORTH, Texas - American Airlines has created another exciting way for AAdvantage® members to earn miles. A new agreement with The Sharper Image®, a national retailer in gift and specialty products, now allows AAdvantage members to earn five miles for every dollar spent at www.sharperimage.com. The Sharper Image is the only electronics or specialty product retailer participating in the AAdvantage program.
“We have teamed up with The Sharper Image in response to members who have asked for more mileage-earning opportunities with new partners,” said Ed French, president - AAdvantage Marketing Programs. “We’re pleased to introduce a leading-edge retailer to our partner network.”

The Sharper Image, maker of the popular Ionic Breeze® Silent Air Purifier and other Sharper Image Design products, offers consumers a unique selection of exclusive products designed to provide travelers with many of the comforts of home. In addition to travel products, The Sharper Image is internationally renowned for its own brand of well-designed, technologically innovative electronics, gadgets, gifts and other items for home, office, work and play.

To receive miles for purchases, AAdvantage members must purchase items from The Sharper Image online store at www.sharperimage.com/aa. Members click on the “Enter Alternate Payments” button at checkout and enter their AAdvantage number in the “Account/Member Number” field to receive their miles. The program is online only and does not earn miles for purchases made in Sharper Image retail stores, by phone, mail or on the company’s special sites, such as its auction.
