THAI Announces Meeting Results

25 June 2003, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited held a Board of Directors’ Meeting, chaired by Mr. Thanong Bidaya, THAI’s Chairman, with the following results:
1. New Board Member Appointed - THAI’s Board of Directors approved the appointment of Adm. Daweesak Somapha RTN, Commander-in-Chief, Royal Thai Navy, as a member of the airline’s Board of Directors, in place of ACM Terdsak Sujjarak who resigned, the appointment being effective immediately.

2. Selection of Financial Institution as Lead Arranger - THAI’s Board of Directors approved Barclays Capital Securities (Thailand) Ltd. and Kasikornbank Public Company Limited to be lead arrangers for the issuance of baht debentures and to act as coordinators between THAI and the credit rating agency in relation to the credit rating process.

3. Selection of Business and Economy Class Seats for Boeing 777-200 Aircraft - THAI’s Board of Directors approved the selection of Business and Economy Class seats for the airline’s Boeing 777-200 aircraft, based on the proposal put forth by the Committee on Development and Improvement of Aircraft Seats according to the company’s regulations.
