Finnair is cutting three weekly flights on the Helsinki-Bangkok route in June. At the same time onward flights from Bangkok to Singapore and Hong Kong will be cut.
After the reduction in frequencies, flights from Helsinki to Bangkok will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. The Friday flight continues from Bangkok to Hong Kong with the other three flights continuing to Singapore. Normal daily flights to Bangkok will be resumed in July. The World Health Organisation removed Hong Kong from its travel advisory list last week.
Last week Finnair changed the number of Beijing flights to one weekly from the original five weekly flights. The new Osaka route will be launched at the beginning of June and plans for opening the Shanghai route are going ahead. In addition, there will be three weekly flights to Tokyo during the summer months instead of the normal two flights.
