Over the last couple of months easyJet has being running a light-hearted advertising campaign featuring celebrities in the limelight, with topical suggestions of why they should get away with easyJet. The campaign has featured Gordon Brown, Major Ingram, Claire Short, and currently David Beckham.

David`s agent contacted easyJet this week, observing that we used a publicity image without his permission, and requesting that easyJet donate £10,000 to charity. Well, we`d be absolutey delighted to help and rather than the £10,000 requested, we`ll go the extra mile and donate £20,000 to the specified charity providing David matches that amount.
