Free Car Rental Day with United

CHICAGO, May 16, 2003 - United Airlines today announced that customers who purchase a flight on will earn a free rental day from Hertz with a three-day minimum car rental reservation.Ê In addition, customers will earn 50 Mileage Plus miles for each car rental day.

“We are always looking at ways to leverage our Mileage Plus partnerships to offer United customers exciting and unique promotional opportunities,” said Pete Peterson, President of Travel Distribution for UAL Loyalty Services.Ê “This is yet another example of that commitment to our customers. “

3. Select your car rental reservation dates.

This offer ends May 25, 2003 and requires a three-day minimum reservation with the rental vehicle to be picked up through June 30, 2003.
If customers are not ready to reserve their car rental immediately after purchasing their flight, they will need to save the special link from the “Confirmation Page” so that the car rental page can be accessed at a later date.Ê Customers have to enter the Hertz website through this link to earn their free car rental day.
