DL Connection to Offer Boston Service

FREDERICTON, NEW BRUNSWICK, CANADA, May 14, 2003—Delta Connection will offer customers new nonstop jet service between Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada and Boston with two daily round-trip flights, effective Aug. 15, 2003. Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Coast Airlines (Nasdaq: ACAI) will operate the service with Fairchild 328JET regional jets.

The new, year-round Delta Connection flights will offer customers convenient Boston connections to domestic and international destinations served by Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL), Delta Connection and Song, including several Florida cities. Delta and its worldwide partners offer international service from Boston to Bermuda; Montego Bay, Jamaica; Milan, Italy; Paris (Charles de Gaulle); and Montreal.

“Fredericton and Boston customers will appreciate the comfort and convenience of the Delta Connection regional jets,” said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer, Delta Connection, Inc. “This is Fredericton’s only direct, nonstop service to the United States, which will greatly enhance travel opportunities for customers from that community and all of New Brunswick. The Fredericton community has demonstrated great support for this upcoming new service.”

“We are pleased to welcome Delta Air Lines to Greater Fredericton,” said City of Fredericton Mayor Les Hull. “I want to thank the Greater Fredericton Airport Authority and the Fredericton Chamber of Commerce for the tremendous amount of work done to make this a reality. The City of Fredericton was pleased to have played a role in attracting Delta to New Brunswick`s capital city, and I have no doubt this new air service will be successful.”

The 32-seat Fairchild 328JET is built for customer comfort, with a surprisingly wide cabin and aisles that offer customers ample space while they travel. The aircraft has an all-leather interior and one-by-two seating, with no middle seats.
