US Airways Begins New Boston-Bermuda Service

US Airways has introduced nonstop roundtrip service between Boston and Bermuda. The new service, which began this week, operates daily.

Flights between Boston and Bermuda operate using 120-seat Airbus A319 aircraft configured with 108 seats in Coach Class and 12 seats in First Class. Flights depart Boston at 8:15 a.m., and arrive in Bermuda at 11:22 a.m. Return flights depart Bermuda at 3 p.m., and arrive in Boston at 4:17p.m.

“This new service from Boston complements our four existing gateways to Bermuda,” said Douglas Leo, US Airways vice president of international. “With the addition of Fort Lauderdale-Bermuda service next month, customers from one end of the East Coast to the other will have convenient nonstop access to this popular island destination.”

In addition to the new Boston flights, US Airways offers daily nonstop service to Bermuda from New York, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C. (Reagan National), and Charlotte, N.C. New weekend service between Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Bermuda begins on June 14, 2003.

US Airways currently serves the following Caribbean destinations: Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, Cancun, Cozumel, Grand Bahama Island, Grand Cayman, Grenada, Montego Bay, Nassau, Providenciales, Punta Cana, San Juan, Santo Domingo, St. Croix, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas. US Airways Express also serves North Eleuthera, Governors Harbour, Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay from select cities in Florida.
