FORT WORTH, Texas - Not only does American Airlines help speed customers through the airport with its convenient Flight Check-In feature on AA.com, it can also help make their next trip to the airport more rewarding by offering a chance to win a new 2003 Lincoln Aviator®. Until June 15, 2003, customers using the Flight Check-In feature on AA.com or taking the online demo and forwarding it to friends, can earn up to five entries to win one of three exciting prizes: a new 2003 Lincoln Aviator, a First Class trip for two or a portable printer.
Flight Check-In on AA.com is American’s latest alternative to the ticket counter and complements other convenient self-service airport check-in options. Customers traveling on domestic e-tickets can now print their boarding passes and request certain upgrades - all from the convenience of their homes, offices or wherever a computer with internet access and a printer is available. Flight Check-In on AA.com is available to customers beginning 12 hours prior to the scheduled flight, and up to one hour prior to departure. Customers simply log on to www.aa.com with their AAdvantage® number and password, then from the “Reservations” tab select “Flight Check-In.” When arriving at the airport, customers can head straight for the security entrance with their boarding pass and a government-issued photo ID. If customers who use Flight Check-In have luggage, they are encouraged to use Curbside Check-In upon arrival at the airport
“AA.com offers many ways for our customers to enhance their travel experience,” said Rob Friedman, managing director of Interactive Marketing at American Airlines. “And, by partnering with Lincoln, we found an innovative way to spark interest in and usage of Flight Check-In on AA.com. Users can earn up to five entries per person until June 15, 2003: one for viewing our interactive demo on AA.com, one for using the Flight Check-In feature and up to three entries for forwarding the demo to friends. Plus, during this time, all customers who use Flight Check-In on AA.com will earn a one time bonus of 500 AAdvantage miles.”
As customers take to the skies with convenient Flight Check-In at AA.com, one lucky customer will take to the roads in a spirited new Lincoln Aviator. Either way, customers will travel in class with American Airlines and Lincoln.
