Delta Connection Adds More Services

Delta Connection will offer customers year-round nonstop jet service between Palm Springs and Delta’s (NYSE:DAL) hub in Salt Lake City effective April 30, 2003. Delta Connection carrier SkyWest Airlines will operate the round-trip service with the Bombardier CRJ regional jet.
The year-round flight extends the current seasonal schedule, which has two round-trip regional jet flights October through May. Travelers at Salt Lake City International Airport have a convenient choice of more than 280 Delta and Delta Connection flights a day to 67 domestic and international cities.
Known as one of the quietest commercial aircraft in the world, the Bombardier CRJ has revolutionized air travel through its broad passenger appeal, convenience and comfort. The plane carries passengers in a comfortable two-by-two seating arrangement; every seat is a window or aisle, with no middle seats.

Delta Connection carriers include Delta’s wholly owned subsidiaries Atlantic Southeast Airlines and Comair, additional regional carriers Atlantic Coast Airlines, Chautauqua Airlines and SkyWest Airlines, and codeshare partner American Eagle (in California). Delta Connection carriers operate more than 300 regional jets throughout North America. For more information, please visit delta.com.

Delta Connection today announced it will offer customers more daily nonstop jet service between Delta Air Lines’ (NYSE: DAL) hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky and Huntsville, Ala., with one additional round-trip flight to begin May 17.
With the new flight, Delta Connection customers traveling between Cincinnati and Huntsville will have a choice of five daily departures. Delta Connection carrier Comair will operate the new flight with Bombardier CRJ regional jets.

“Having a selection of flight times is important to our customers, especially business travelers,” said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer of Delta Connection, Inc. “Adding a roundtrip flight in the early afternoon between Huntsville and Cincinnati allows Delta Connection to enhance customer convenience.”

Customers traveling through Delta’s hub in Cincinnati may choose from more than 550 daily departures to 125 non-stop domestic and international destinations.
