Victor Nosi Leaves South African Airways
11 March, 2003, JOHANNESBURG: Victor Nosi, Executive Vice President: Marketing & Communications and I have been in discussion for many months on his desire to move on. I have finally agreed.
Victor joined SAA in March of 1998. He is the second longest serving member of the Leadership Team. Sadly, this is the end of an illustrious career at SAA that has helped see a substantial turnaround of the airline.
He has been instrumental in the positive positioning of SAA in the market place especially among it`s key stakeholders, the Tourism Authorities, Government and staff, to name a few.
Please join me in expressing our profound appreciation for the contribution that Victor has made in the Marketing and Communications environment within the SAA business during his tenure with us and to wish him and his family all of the best in the future.
Oyama Mabandla, EVP Strategy and Planning, will be acting EVP: Marketing & Communications, until a full time appointment has been made.
