Mr Peebles is a regular customer of bmibaby`s, frequently travelling throughout Europe on business with his own Nottingham based company, Pump House.
Tony Davis, managing director of bmibaby said:
Ê“This is our first real milestone in terms of passengers carried and we`re overwhelmed that we`ve reached it in a little under a year. It`s a great achievement for such a young airline in such a competitive market.”

Mr Craig Peebles, millionth passenger added:
Ê“Since bmibaby operations began last March I`ve travelled all over Europe on frequent business trips with my own company, Pump House. Being Nottingham based it`s been brilliant, cheap and easy and now I`m thrilled to be the millionth passenger. I`m also pleased that on this occasion I`m actually not travelling on business, I`m taking a well earned break with my family.”
