America West Reports February Traffic

PHOENIX, March 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/—America West Airlines (NYSE: AWA) today reported traffic statistics for the month of February and year-to-date 2003. Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) for February 2003 were 1.5 billion, an increase of 16.0 percent from February 2002. Capacity for February 2003 was 2.1 billion available seat miles (ASMs), up 13.6 percent from February 2002. The passenger load factor for the month of February was a record 70.8 percent versus 69.3 percent in February 2002.
