American and US Airways Interline Ticketing

FORT WORTH, Texas - American Airlines and US Airways today announced they now offer interline electronic ticketing to provide passengers with more convenient booking options. Customers can use a single electronic ticket when their itineraries include travel on both carriers. American now offers interline electronic ticketing convenience with most major U.S. airlines, including United Airlines, Continental Airlines, and Northwest Airlines.
Passengers with e-tickets also have the ability to rebook between American and US Airways without having to obtain a paper ticket first. Previously, customers with e-tickets were required to convert to a paper ticket before transferring between carriers. Interline e-tickets can be issued by American and US Airways through their respective reservation centers and at airport locations and ticket offices.

US Airways’ European destinations are Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Manchester, Munich, Paris and Rome, with service to Dublin and Shannon beginning in May 2003.
