Air New Zealand flights at London’s Heathrow International Airport are operating normally during the current high security presence.
Although the top floors of Heathrow car parking buildings have been closed off and there are sporadic police checks on vehicles on the perimeter road skirting the airfield,Ê road access is by and large unaffected and public transport to the airportÊ is operating normally.

Check-in processing times have not been increased and Air New Zealand’s daily flight from Auckland, via Los Angeles, is arriving and returning to Auckland normally.

The UK Government has heightened security at the airport and other sites in the UK, in a precautionary response to, as the Metropolitan Police states, “a potential threat to the capital”.
