Delta Connection Richmond and Orlando

RICHMOND, Va., Jan. 30, 2003—Delta Connection will inaugurate jet service between Richmond and Orlando, Fla., beginning Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003. Delta Connection carrier Chautauqua Airlines will operate three daily, nonstop round-trip flights between Richmond and Orlando using Embraer regional jets (ERJ).


“This Delta Connection service provides convenient, non-stop jet travel between Richmond and Orlando, Florida’s most popular leisure and business destination,” said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer, Delta Connection, Inc.
Delta Connection also added a daily round-trip flight between Richmond and Cincinnati on Jan. 20, operated by Delta Connection carrier Comair with Bombardier CRJ regional jets. The new schedule offers a total of six Delta and Delta Connection round-trip flights between Richmond and Delta’s hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.
