Continental Offers GRAMMY Awards Tickets

HOUSTON, Jan. 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/—Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today announced that it is offering OnePass members the opportunity to bid on VIP tickets to the 45th Annual GRAMMY Awards through the OnePass Online Auction at continental.ebaytravel.com . The airline is also offering tickets to the MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute Dinner honoring Bono of the band U2. Continental Airlines is the official airline of the Recording Academy.


Scheduled for Feb. 23 at New York City`s Madison Square Garden, the GRAMMY Awards package includes tickets to pre- and post-GRAMMY receptions and the star-studded awards ceremony. The MusiCares Person of the Year Tribute Dinner includes a silent auction and tribute concert on Feb. 21, at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel.

GRAMMY Awards and MusiCares tickets are available at the OnePass Online Auction. The last day to bid on the auction items is Feb. 14. To bid, OnePass members are required to register and create an OnePass Online Auction profile using their OnePass number and personal identification number (PIN). Members must have miles in the account at the time of transaction.


Launched in June 2002, Continental Airlines teamed with eBay Travel to create continental.ebaytravel.com , which allows Continental OnePass members to bid on unique experiences using frequent flier miles. More than 2,500 members have bid on 192 experience packages totaling over 15 million miles since the program`s inception.
