CHICAGO, Jan. 9, 2003 - United Airlines (NYSE: UAL) announced today that it has retained the services of Heidrick & Struggles to conduct a nationwide search for candidates to serve as Unitedå‘s Executive Vice President - Customer.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Glenn F. Tilton said, “We are looking for an innovative individual who can help take the United brand - already one of the strongest in the world - to the next level on a global scale. This person will be charged with reaching both existing and new customers with creative, highly compelling value propositions as we transform this company for the long term.”
United said the search will be led by John P. de Regt, a managing partner from Heidrick & Struggles’ Greenwich, CT office and Anne Lim O’Brien of Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office.
