ATLANTA, Dec. 19, 2002 - Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) has added new Gate Information Display Screens (GIDS) at Tampa International Airport in Florida to help customers stay informed. The information screens, the most advanced in the industry, provide customers with real-time, flight-specific information at every gate in Tampa.

Delta’s GIDS provide customers with information they need and want, including flight status seating configuration, standby and upgrade status, and weather conditions in their destination city—even, before they ask. Customers now have access to GIDS technology in 16 stations in Delta’s domestic system, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Fla.; Los Angeles; New York (Kennedy and LaGuardia); Orlando, Fla.; Salt Lake City; San Francisco; Tampa, Fla.; and Washington, D.C. (Reagan). They are also located in the Shuttle operations in Boston, New York and Washington, D.C.

Delta also offers 12 self-service check-in kiosks in Tampa enabling customers to check-in quickly for their flight, while avoiding lines. Customers can also enjoy Delta’s expanded 7800 square foot Crown Room Club in the new Airside E terminal.
