JOHANNESBURG: In keeping with the festive vibe, South African Airways has dressed up all check-in counters and put up artful wire trees in our lounges.
“Happiness and a festive feeling can be experienced at all our out stations. May we take this opportunity to wish all our passengers a happy festive season and a safe holiday, as well as a prosperous New Year,” says Victor Nosi, SAA Executive Vice-President Marketing and Communications.

The airline especially welcomes children travelling with us over this holiday. As part of our holiday programme the little ones will receive a special treat. “Alice in Wonderland”, “Aladdin” as well as “Snow White” will be at airports to entertain them.

The very special festive wire trees passengers can see in our lounges are the creative work of Streetwires, a social upliftment and community development project.

The project provides the training, support and raw materials to channel the creative flare of unemployed South Africans into creating these striking wire trees. SAA supports this project.
