Delta Connection Inaugurates Jet Service

Delta Connection now offers business and leisure travelers the convenience of new non-stop jet service between Orlando, Fla., and Huntsville, Ala. Effective today, Delta Connection carrier Comair is operating two daily round-trip flights between the cities using Bombardier CRJ regional jets.

“By using Delta Connection’s industry-leading regional jet program to add this service, our customers can take advantage of an easy and comfortable jet link between Huntsville and Orlando, Florida’s leading business and leisure destination,” said Fred Buttrell, president and chief executive officer of Delta Connection, Inc.

Customers traveling on Delta to Orlando have convenient access to more than 100 daily flights to 29 domestic and international destinations, including other cities throughout Florida.

Known for its convenience, comfort and speed, the CRJ carries passengers in a two-by-two seating arrangement; every seat is an aisle or window, with no middle seats. The plane can cruise at a speed of 530 mph at altitudes as high as 41,000 feet and is recognized as the quietest commercial jet aircraft in the world.
