ATA to Offer Hotel Booking

INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Dec. 12, 2002—ATA (American Trans Air, Inc.)(Nasdaq:ATAH) customers who book their air travel via the company`s website at ata.com can now book their hotel reservations there too. Beginning December 10, 2002, ATA is partnering with WWTE, (WWTE(TM)) a division of Travelscape, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Expedia, Inc., to provide access to over 45,000 quality hotels, giving customers convenient, one-stop shopping and significant savings on their hotel and air travel.

“Our customers will have the opportunity to book their hotel reservations online at ata.com while they are booking their flights. It is a convenient way to complete all of their travel arrangements directly through our website, while taking advantage of both ATA`s and WWTE`s low, competitive rates,” said Don Moonjian, ATA`s Vice President of Marketing.

According to Moonjian, ATA`s website will host WWTE`s private label booking engine and hotel inventory. Customers who book their airline reservations at ata.com will see two new button features: “Book A Hotel” and “Hotel Deals. ” When the customer clicks on either of these buttons, they will gain access to more than 45,000 hotels, including specially negotiated rates at over 7,000 properties. In addition, once a hotel is chosen, customers can select from a variety of destination services and activities including airport transfers, sightseeing tours, cultural events and outdoor adventures.
