This Christmas you can put British Airways on the shopping list for the first time. The airline has launched a new gift voucher scheme - British Airways Escape Tickets - with prices ranging from £59 for a flight within the UK and £69 for a ticket to Paris to £2,999 for a return ticket on Concorde.

There are 15 different gift vouchers available - each one valid for a range of destinations. The gift voucher is festively designed and contains details of the choice of destination and the number to ring to book the ticket, together with room to write a personal message.

Treat a friend to a trip to Nice, Geneva, Barcelona or Genoa for just £89 or Venice, Berlin or Prague for £109.

The price of long haul vouchers starts from £269 - this voucher is valid for eight North American destinations including New York and Washington.

Buy someone the chance to visit a long lost friend or relative - a voucher to Dubai, Los Angeles and San Francisco costs £319, Beijing £359, Antigua and St Lucia costs £429 and Hong Kong £499.

For £2,999 you can buy someone the ultimate gift - a return trip on Concorde to New York, saving up to £1,447 on the cheapest advance purchase Concorde fare.

All flights are valid from 27 December until June 30 2003. The Concorde voucher is valid for travel from 1 February to 31 March 2003.
