Boeing respects the long and hard work of the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) during this investigation. After every accident, Boeing pursues possible improvements in design, maintenance, and operation of an aircraft to avoid the recurrence of an accident.

Enhancements have already been made in the aftermath of this accident and are outlined in Boeing`s submission to the NTSB. The recommendations made today by the NTSB will receive our careful attention and consideration.
