DALLAS/FORT WORTH, Nov. 26, 2002—Delta Connection will offer customers new twice-daily, nonstop service between Dallas/Fort Worth and the cities of Lexington, Ky., and Knoxville, Tenn., beginning Jan. 31, 2003. Delta Connection carrier SkyWest will operate the service with Bombardier CJR regional jets.

The new schedule also will include CRJ service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Shreveport, La., replacing existing Delta Connection turboprop service effective Jan. 31, 2003. This change will offer Shreveport customers all-jet service to Dallas/Fort Worth and Atlanta on Delta and Delta Connection flights. The new jet service will be operated by SkyWest.

One additional daily round-trip flight is being added between Dallas/Fort Worth and Austin, Texas, bringing the total number of daily flights to six effective Jan. 31, 2003. This additional jet service also will be operated by SkyWest.

The new service will be available for sale beginning Nov. 27, 2002.

Travelers at Delta’s hub in Dallas/Fort Worth have access to more than 210 daily flights on Delta or Delta Connection to more than 60 cities. This includes popular destinations throughout the West and Southwest.
