ATA Adds More Frequencies
INDIANAPOLIS—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Nov. 19, 2002—ATA (American Trans Air, Inc., Nasdaq: ATAH) provides its customers with great service, great value and schedule flexibility. Beginning today, the carrier will offer even more flexibility by increasing the number of scheduled service flights to/from Chicago-Midway and Indianapolis to some of its most popular destinations.
“These frequency additions are a result of better fleet utilization and more efficient scheduling of the company`s aircraft,” said Stan Hula, ATA`s Vice President of Planning. “Customers will find the enhanced flying schedules more convenient and suitable for their business and leisure travel needs.”
From Chicago-Midway, beginning today, ATA will add a fifth daily, nonstop flight to Dallas. On December 19, a sixth daily nonstop flight to Minneapolis will be added and as well as a fourth daily, nonstop flight to Charlotte, NC.
Beginning today, ATA will increase service from Indianapolis to Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. from six days per week to daily, and will add a second daily, nonstop flight from Indianapolis to Las Vegas and Ft. Myers, Fla.
As previously announced, ATA will begin service in December to Montego Bay, Jamaica and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico from Chicago-Midway. Flights will be available on Thursdays and Sundays to Montego Bay (service starts on December 19), and Wednesdays and Saturdays to Puerto Vallarta (service starts December 21).
