Air Canada Invites Canadians to Ottawa

Air Canada announced today reduced fare travel
from anywhere in Canada to Ottawa for this year`s Remembrance Day ceremonies
at the National War Memorial. The special Internet-only fares are offered in
honor of those who have served Canada in past wars and to encourage Canadians
of all ages to experience the national Remembrance Day ceremonies.

Special Remembrance Day fares are available until November 8 exclusively
at www.aircanada.ca .
Ottawa-bound customers may depart November 8 through November 10 with
return travel either the 12th or 13th of November. Surcharges for fuel and
insurance have been waived for the special Remembrance Day fares.

The focus of Veterans Week this year is “Remembering Our Past -
Preserving Our Future”, with a special emphasis on ensuring that today`s youth
keep the memories of the past alive for future generations. “We are pleased to
offer special fares that allow Canadians of all ages to visit the national
capital in observance of Remembrance Day. On November 11 we honour the more
than 100,000 who have died in Canada`s service and we express our gratitude
for the sacrifices they made,” said Bill Bredt, Vice President, Network and
Revenue Management.

Commemorative ceremonies across Canada culminate with a national ceremony
on November 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the National War Memorial on Parliament Hill
in Ottawa.
