Gulf Air Appoints GM in Bahrain


Gulf Air, the national carrier of Bahrain, UAE, Oman and Qatar, has announced the appointment of Abdulmalik Al-Saei as General Manager for Bahrain. 


“Mr Al-Saei is responsible for the overall commercial operation of Gulf Air’s Bahrain station as a result of this promotion,” said James Hogan, President & Chief Executive, Gulf Air. “Having joined the company’s Management Trainee Program, he is an example of the airline’s commitment to developing nationals from our owner States to assume leadership roles.”


Since joining Gulf Air’s Management Trainee Program in 1990, the Bahraini marketing graduate has gained several years of experience in all aspects of Gulf Air’s commercial operations.  He has been an Area Manager in India, Cyprus, the Levant, UAE and Saudi Arabia, where he was responsible for all station activities, many of which gained a number of awards during his tenure.  Most recently Mr Al-Saei was Regional Commercial Manager for the Middle East.
