Flint And Detroit Jet Service from Northwest

Northwest Airlines today announced that it will be offering an å“all jetå” schedule on its eight daily flights between Flint, Mich. and its Detroit hub, beginning December 18, 2002.

Northwest will upgrade the last remaining 34-passenger Saab 340 turbo-prop aircraft flight between Flint and Detroit to one of the airline’s 50-passenger Canadair Regional Jets (CRJ). The other daily flights between the two cities operate with a mix of DC9s and Regional Jets. In addition to the Detroit service, Northwest continues to offer twice daily jet service to its Minneapolis/St. Paul hub.

The CRJ features a spacious cabin with comfortable two-by-two leather seating and other cabin amenities similar to much larger jets, such as overhead bins, a full-service galley, lavatory, and an efficient climate control system to ensure passenger comfort.

The flights are open for sale immediately. For reservations, customers can visit www.nwa.com, call Northwest Airlines Reservations at 1-800-225-2525 or contact their travel agent.
