Delta Air Lines’ (NYSE:DAL) Board of Directors declared a cash
dividend of two and one-half cents per common share at its regular meeting held today in
Atlanta.

The dividend is payable on Dec. 1, 2002, to shareowners of record on Nov. 6, 2002
